Intake for poor weather
Hey guys,
I was wondering if you guys could suggest an intake. I've searched through the website and have not found the answer I am looking for. I know the stock intake is fantastic, but I simply want an aftermarket for the noise factor.
Where I live, BC Canada, it is always raining here aside from 2-3 months of the year. Because of that I am leaning away from a CAI since the intake goes down to near the front fenders. Last thing I wanted is my engine to be hydro locked. I was thinking of either K&N(which I probably won't get since I heard it is terrible) or the Racing Beat Revi Intake.
I simply want your guys input and/or suggestions.
Thank you

or just stay with the OE box for free, you're only talking 2 - 3 HP max if that
removing the VFAD will increase the noise if it's still in place, otherwise no box filter setup will be as loud as the typical CAI (which changing your intake for this purpose is just a silly boy racer mod)
