There is only one supplier and you will not get it cheap, even used.

It is a good product though, you get what you pay for.

but yet. i have never seen Dyno Numbers to prove the type of gains you will get,
if you have the AP pullies, Complete Revi Intake (including Ram air duct) Flyhweel, borla exhaust, then you get it tuned with the Inter-x, what type of gains are you looking at? and wht does it relate to, oh, 1/4 mile times??? like i said, i have yet to see anyone show graphs or whatever, just "oh much of a noticable improvment it is"

int-x for NA use is not something I would do simply because you're paying $1700 for 20 hp gain. You'd be better off going with the RB reflash unless you had FI upgrades in your future and can get ahold of a kit that has no fuel management.

I think its worth it go have the int-x while n/a if you know that you will be going turbo soon. Yeah im not thinking 20 hp is worth 1600 but if you are going to use it for turbo later then it will eventually pay off.

What I need is a system that will do everything the X will do except boost control, plus cruise control. If the X would do Cruise I would get it now. It is a good price, but only with cruise. I can live with CEL, if ever occured. With the X you could tell what it is anyway.

JFYI: with the Ultimate you can tell the car when to switch to open loop so that you can control fuel injection. Cruise control works and I have no cel.

I guess you have not heard, the cruise control update has been working for several months now! All of the factory features such as the steering wheel controls, clutch and brake interupts are performing as stock. I have the units in stock and look foward to hearing from you, Scott 727-530-9960

While you are online I have a question - After my engine was replaced, I still have my turbo and am running with the interceptor. I have had success with all my adjustments except for cold starting. The original engine never had a problem with cold starts but I have been having continuous problems. When I first start the car - the a/f gauge starts at 14.8 but quickly gets very lean until it off the gauge reading 16-17 for about 3 minutes and then the a/f reading gets richer and is trackable. I have added fuel at the cold crank pump map - from intial setting to 26%. I have also gone into the water screen and added fuel where the temp is at start up. What should I try next - I am getting very frustrated - I have not messed with any crank adjustments.

RX8FOREAL, 16 and 17 AFR at idle, or while driving? If it's just at idle it shouldn't be a problem.

When the car was na it idled at 15-16. I have not heard of any cars with a turbo and the inteceptor that idles that lean at startup. It never happened with my original engine - cold starts are 12-13 and when warm is around 11.5

Well, I don't have the int-x, but I do have the greddy turbo. My warmup currently is very similar to what you describe. Starts up with a 11 AFR, then starts leaning till it's idling at around 15, the engine hunts and hits 17 at times. As long as it's only at idle I think you're okay. If it's 17 as you're accelerating (not crusing) then you have issues.

Do you have the latest ecu reflash? I think it might have something to do with it. My idle and startup has changed since it was last done.

Interesting Dennis. Did you check for any vac. leaks after the install? I find it odd that you have been required to make adjustments to multiple screens while still using all the same bolt-on's.
Nonetheless the screens you should be modifying for this problem are, WTR_MAP (additional % of enrichment based on water temp),CRK_MAP (additional % of fuel injected during cranking)and perhaps the AFTSTART (additional enrichment that automatically decreases to allow the engine to stabilize after starting). mysql101, The flash should not affect the running conditions of the Interceptor-X equipped cars. Unlike other systems the Int-X does not modify the factory injector dutycycle or ignition tables (Maps), It completely replaces them with what the user decides they should be! So the additional oil injection of the new flash will occur (great news btw) flashes should not effect the run condition at all.

I did not check for any vacuum leaks. Dave from KDR did the install and he is usually thorough. I will check with him since he also did the tune and ran about 7 dyno runs about 3-4 weeks ago. I have not, but will try the crank_map adjustments and even the aftstart. It is strange because the car is pulling -20 to -22 hg at idle constantly and the rest of the run characteristics seem good. Thanks
Dennis
