good car. Car idle is very quiet. they said idle is 63 db and when rpm is 5000rpm 80db. high rpm sound is very high good sound. they list price is $1698- for full titanium. full stainless steel they said $898-. and weight is 28lbs. I have JIC coil over kit. my car SCCmagazine done performance test. car made skid pad 1.01G !slarom test 78mile ( new record ) ! braking tst 60mile to 0 mile 102ft! ( I have stop tech 14 inch rotors and 4 pistons) stock data they told me skid pad 0.9G slarom 70mile, braking 114ft. my car has racing beet sway bar. but non adjustable. hokikiss company will make 3 way adjustable sway bar kit soon. I thinking change w\sway bar .
Wow, that really didnt make sense. Try periods and full sentences, it helps when other ppl are reading your post.

Now I dont mean to be an ***, but could you elaborate on how you got those specs? What tests were done etc.

I mean 102 ft 60-0 is better than any production car ever...I have a hard time believing it, along with 78mph slalom...

Im not saying its not possible...Im just one of those people who need concrete evidene to believe something.

Sorry thats not good enough for me.

its not like it matters because my car pulls 1.2gs, stops from 60 in 97ft, does the slalom at 83mph. And will run faster than a 14.5 seccond 1/4 mile (no rx8 in the US without an engine swap or a power adder can beat that)

Want proof? call my mom she works with Dave coleman at SCC.

I'm with you Synrix... Excellent pictures and great info SE3P!!

Some guys aren't happy unless you go so far as to install the mod on their car yourself. Believe what you like, don't believe what you like, but don't ride a guy for not submitting all the info you would like before dropping $ on a project. Call this Dave C dude if you need more info.

SE3P - do you have the dyno graph to show us the 5hp you gained? I am considering this exhaust, but its quite expensive for a mesly 5hp... $330 for 1hp gain if the exhaust is $1650 retail.

Well, TI is expensive, but the main gains are an edge in racing, as the weight is much less!

If you can afford it, go for it! I think the cats are the main restriction!

If you are an average daily driver looking for a little gain and a good sound, then definately get some sort of exhaust!

I agree, dyno posts would be nice, but not every person has those at hand to put on the net... not everyone has a scanner, or a digi-cam!!!

I know man lol, Ti is cool looking and lightweight, but with $1650 I certainly expect a considerable amount of performance gain per dollar ratio.

Yeah, it is pricey, but if you have good sponsors, then not a problem!

Unfortunately, I'm a privateer, so all racing funds come out of my own pocket!!!

From other threads, we are finding that there is only 5 HP available, and that's with an open exhaust. Cat-backs are getting about 3 HP, so the only benefits will be "better" sound and lighter weight. This Ti system gives both. Very nice. Yes, very expensive. Hey, it's a Mazda. Parts have to be expensive.

The new laws make any tinkering with the cat totally illegal (except for "offroad use"). This is in any state (and Canada, sigh). Luckly, in some juristictions, no-one tests, and some have no fine for this (us). Keep your old parts, though, cause they can still force you to switch back.

Just because it's titanium doesn't mean it's going to give you extra HP. The reason for the price is because the whole exhaust is titanium, the performance gain is in weight savings, not power.

The car is N/A.... you'd be lucky to get 5-8hp gains. If you want the most HP gains de-cat and run straight through exhaust piping. But your low-end will suck even more than it already does. Top-end will gain dramatically i'd believe.

Here you guys go. Rotary Performance in Dallas is extremely reputable. Here's their system (Greddy) and their results.

22 hp gain from just an exhaust? Although they might be extremely reputable.... 22 does sound like a lot!

that "boost" in power could be several things, above 4500 rpms, the renesis engine in the high powered version, opens another intake tract as well as several other features such as the other intake ports to produce additional power.

Why would that be so pronounced with a cat-back as opposed to stock form?

Here you go mike. The full pic is the Ti but the design is the same in stainless. These are the best pics we got from the dudes over at JIC. We compleatly forgot to get a sound clip of the exhaust while we went out to the track with them. I can tell you this, It's quiet, even at WOT. THe B&B definatley louder.
