JIC Titanium Exhaust (with pics now)

My exhaust should finally be coming in this week. I tried searching for a sound clip and all that good stuff, but I was unable to find anything. I was just wanting to know if I was the only one who couldn't find a sound clip, and if it would be worth the effort of putting up a comparison video (probably with a dB meter and everything) of stock vs. the JIC.

there aren't many comparison videos for exhausts. it'd be good to have on this forum though. it's just hard to have a real quality sound clip done since a lot of the clips done depend too much on the volume and noise.

I heard this exhaust in person. Sounds great. It has a very similar sound to the Espelir JGT-500. The tips are great too.

I like to hear that. I've been waiting a long time for this exhaust to come in (JIC had trouble finding titanium, wtf?), and the suspense is killing me.

Sorry, I've moved out and don't have a camera to record with. If I'm home any time soon I'll send them though, sorry.

I had to delete a bunch of files. I thougt I had the JIC sound clip at one time.

It was probably a link from this forum.

Do another search.

Damn that must have been nice. They told me at the beginning that it was backordered for 2 months, so I knew it would be a while but 3 months is ridiculous.

with the OE cat it's only barely louder than the OE exhaust, it has a nicer tuned sound than OE at WOT and it's a whole lot lighter = win-win

Yep that was exactly my thinking. The exhaust was a little out of my price range, but I figure on keeping this car forever. I might as well get all the stuff I really want slowly, instead of getting cheaper stuff and then selling it to get the stuff I really wanted later. The price of titanium is only going to go up right? From what I've read on here, catbacks gain very little power as it is, so I figure it wouldn't hurt to gain the "2 hp" from losing 20ish pounds.

which version did you get? the ST or the Ti? how much did you pay for it, I am looking to get it very soon, but I want to find a good deal, I contacted Yukio at JIC and he said call him and he'll cut me a deal. I need some advice on where to get it.

Smile

Hope that works. I should be installing it tomorrow. I don't think I am going to do a video comparison though. The picture of the scale shows the weight of the muffler. Every bit of 9 lbs.
