is mid pipe the same as a cat for rx8? because on the rx8 i see that the cat are welded to the mid pipe so it's one piece? because in my other car such an integra DC5 type R, it's split into 2 parts. can someone clear this up for me?

Not the end of the world.

I would get a midpipe next, it is a one piece that replaces the Catalytic Converter, easily replaced when un-bolting the cat from the header.

Have a wide variety of Mid-pipes to pick from.

Are you concerned about noise levels?

Price Range?

Cat or No Cat?

Do you do a lot of highway driving?

Not really concerned about noise level, price doesn't matter either i guess as long as it is good stuff because you get what you paid for, right? so i guess it is worth it.

In Australia, we have to run a cat for street use, so no choice about that. Nah not much freeway driving, only on the freeway when i'm on the way to the track hahaa

What are some good jdm mid pipe that comes with cat?

So just leave the ground wire as it is now? hahha the car won't blow up right? =p

the ground wire is just a secondary backup to make sure the exhaust system is grounded for the O2 sensors. The OE gaskets are all metal so it's unlikely not to be grounded anyways
