ok so I recently purchased an 04 6speed rx8 . I'm happy with it but disapointed on it's speed. It has now a agency power cadless 3in and a drop in k&n air filter. I was told I should adjust the map manager cause of the exhuast I have on it but what too?
I'm willing to spend around 2gs to make it quicker so obv I can't afford a turbo but what do you guys recommend me do with a budget like that? Intake? Port and polish? And where is the cheapest place I can purchase these items ?
I would more than appreciate any and all input. Thank you

Seems like you should read before you attempt anything you come off as not knowing much about the car you purchased. Reading wont do anything but help you become familiar with your new car and able to appreciate and take care of it the right way.

I don't know much at all bout the technicalities of a car and I know research is best but as I was doing so I didn't get much cause of my lack of knowledge so I was just hoping ya guys could just let me know what to do so I have a fast car =P

teh way u tipe shos ur lak of nowleg.
Good lord, learn to search. This car is not inherently fast, it's not it's main purpose. You can turbo/supercharge or nitrous. Not much power can be gained with most other mods available. But you would already know that if you had you searched and read through the million and a half threads on this very subject.

Hey jbk I had the same intention as well. I spoke to the owner of this site:
www.mazsport.net
He makes custom turbo kits for rx8's and so much more. However he'll lead you in the right direction. I can't believe I forgot his name though. Oh...the lady who answers the phone is Sara.

There is no way to make it fast.. apart from a 20b swap.
BUT this car wasn't made for straight line acceleration so if that is your only goal then you fkd up and picked the wrong car...

if i were you i would do a pulley ,throttle body spacer, cat back exhaust, cold air intake and a tune. if u want to get some little hp here and there thats the way for you you can also lighten up the car with some serious weight reduction
