Talking just put my baby on :D

so tonight at 11 pm. me and 2 other friends got together and put my RACING BEAT exhaust on. With only a few simple tools and lots of agonizing moments under my car 2 hours later i had a beautiful low grumbling car!

im guessing most of you have all heard the mazdatrix racingbeat sound clip and i'll tell u, that sound clip doesnt give it justice cuz this exhaust sounds NICE. not too loud not ricey at all and a really deep tone. i'll post up pics later sry and if anyone would like to instruct me in how to post a sound clip i'd gladly give it a try.

i love racing beat : D next on my list is their springs and sway bars : D

I'm very interested...

...in swapping out my exhaust as well. Currently, I'm looking at MazdaSpeed, RB, HKS or Greddy. My question is how difficult is it to perform the swap? What tools are involved? And how high/far does my car need to get off the ground?

Thanks for any insights or opinions! :D

I am thinking about getting an exhaust for the wife's 8. She would kill me if if I got her a pissed off briggs and stratton sounding exhaust. I'm going to wait till I can hear a magnaflow stainless system before I make any judgements. Problem is, what one person may say is a deep sound another person may say it sounds too ricey or loud. Too many dang decisions. (I went through the same thing picking a cat-back for my 96 Z28)

The B&B and Borla sound clips that I have heard for the 8 just don't do it for me. And the wife said no way on both of those.

I would check out the racing beat exhaust if i was you. Racing beat took a lot of time to develop a great exhaust note that you only hear in the upper revs..

Get the RB, it is the quietest of all.

i think the mazdaspeed is the most quiet but still an improvement nonetheless. regarding installation it's a really simple mount and bolt on process, but make sure you have the tools ready and wrap the tips up real good to avoid any type of scratching in case you drop it or anything, also a friend cause the stock exhaust is really heavy or im just really weak .
