K&n ftw!

K&n ftw!
I bought a used K&N intake for my car (more like it came with the used Borla cat-back I bought) but as I was installing it I noticed it was missing a vacuum hose. I bought one from Autozone to replace it but it was just a little too big which bugged me so I figured I'd email K&N and see how much it'd cost to get the actual hose from them. I included my shipping address in it so they could calculate shipping into the price. I told them it was used and that I had absolutely no problem paying for the hose since I wasn't the original buyer.
A week went by and I didn't get an email. Finally I got one towards the end of last week. Instead of giving me a shipping quote, they had SHIPPED me the replacement part free of charge! Sure enough it arrived today and I just went out and installed it. It fits sooo much better than the hose I had on there which completely puts my mind at ease.
It's probably nothing more than a $2-$3 hose but that completely made my day. What a cool company! This is something I'm definitely going to remember looking towards the future. I'm a loyalist of theirs now for sure.
