K&N Intake: Group Buy

Built for performance and show, the Typhoon™ Air Intake System is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to fit the RX-8. We have found it really does make between 8.5 and 9.5 Hp

It is available in polished, blue, and red.

We ended up with tons of these in stock. We need to sell them before the first of the year. More importantly your 8 needs it!
$229.99 SHIPPED!!!

yeah, and it really does cause idling issues for 75% of the people that own them. Not suprised that you have tons in stock.

Uh - that dyno shows no signifigant gain, really...Considering the atmosphere changes and correction value changes, the lines would fall well within the difference two dyno pulls could show. We have no idea if the dyno plots were even from the same car.

If somebody can show a back-to-back dyno (At least two pulls from the same day), on the same car, then I'd be convinced. Perhaps show 'measured' hp, too. To me, measured hp is a better indication of the power that car made, on that day.

Also, would you consider a 5th gear run? 1:1 is the ideal gear ratio to dyno.

Of course, you could just ignore this reply and move on...lol

:D

my $.02

Thanks! Seems like a great price, though.
