K&N Typhoon (I69-6030-1TFK) short ram intake
I recently installed the K&N typhoon 69-6030-1TFK intake system in my 04, 6MT RX8..... was just wondering, guys who have this system in their 8's do you feel any low end power loss (i feel like the pick-up from stop has gone down )? or is it just me. I knew that there wud'nt be any noticable increase in power (if any) with this system anyway, i got it for the sound it made. But at least was not expecting a loss of power (may be the low end torque). Also i was thinking of replacing my stock exhuast tips with Magnaflow Exhaust 35121 Exhaust Tip, 4" Round Angle Cut, 7" Long, 2.25 Inlet (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...0DER&v=glance), as i like the sound of the stock as is but just dont like the size of the tips. what are your opinions about it. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I had it and I never notice any lost of low end power, actually the opposite, power increased across the whole RPM range ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
u got the filter brand new did u ? if yes, u should ALWAYS clean the factory filled oil , refill it urself before u use it. Cuz at factory they just soak the whole filter into oil. it restrict a lot of airflow -_-
