Larger injectors for N/A
My searches are all flooded with FI stuff, so my quick question is....
Is there any benefit to running larger injectors on a n/a engine?
I have noticed bigger flames when I shift but that's it.
It has been tuned. I don't have a cobb, but am planning on getting one in july.
Flamers flame off, i'm not looking for a huge thread just some honest answers.

Don't know a lot about much of anything but I might add this....
I think the only real benefit would be to get injectors that are flow tested so you can scale the injectors correctly when tuning.
My understanding is the stock injectors are all over the map in there flow rates from one car to another.
I don't think larger injectors for NA would be any benefit if the stockers are good to 300whp, again only benefit would be if they were flow tested.
That's my guess ...

There is more than enough fuel with the stock injectors
Larger injectors will do nothing good.....they will have different latencies than stock..and not work as well as stock without tuning
The stock P1's (red) are 290ish P2 and Sec ( yellow) are 380ish..and AT Sec ( blue) are 480ish
Are you running larger than stock injectors now?

well that's good to know/
1 of my original p1's were running low at 230sumthin (felt like it wasn't working right) so I swapped out the p1's put the p2's there and installed some blue ones that were tested at 420 +/-2
The car doesn't run any worse than before b/c one of them was a bit whack anyhow, but like I said the flames are defenately more Pronounced. I did get it tuned, i'm somewhat educated.

I'm not sure what was used to tune it/I had one of my customers tune it. I believe the secondary's were from an auto. It was cheap so that's what I did.
I am planning on getting a cobb soon to try and clear the cell from the APower midpipe.

If you don't have an AP..or a Protuner it hasn't been tuned...Unless they installed an E-manage or something...that I think you would have noticed
The reason for the flames is because it is running really rich
You have about 30% more P1 fuel than you need...and about the same on the P2's. The P2's won't cause much of a problem.....The fuel trims are likely pegged at -20% and you likely have more CEL's than just the CAT delete
You can tune it with an AP...and delete the CEL's.....but it would be better to go back to the Red P1's and put the Yellows back where they belong

That's good to know. I think I will just replace the p1's when I seafoam my car next weekend, than they will all be brand new, the one's in the p2 position are a month old. Then when I get the cobb I can adjust accordingly (or get MM to tune it if he comes to Canada). Would the bigger injector then affect a nitrous application in the future?
The car was scanned at a dealership before the swap and 1 cel for a 02 sensor so you may be right.
Your input is appreciated.

If you get a Cobb..you can definitely tune for those injectors...but you really don't need the hassle if you follow me.
You have enough fuel for about 150% load...so you don't need it for a nitrous install either..especially because you would most likely be installing a wet nitrous kit that adds the required fuel in the nitrous nozzle...
I would sell the Blues to someone with a turbo or SC application...and go back to the stock injectors...way simpler

Just to add fuel to the combustion chamber, so to speak; would there be any benefit, n.a., to going to higher quality, blueprinted, low impedance injectors? Same size as stock, but bringing the benefits of quicker response and accurate flow.
This is, of course, given that the drivers were available.
