lightweight flywheel vs underdrive pulley

well i actually have not had it installed in MY car. but as the pulley, i've heard many instances where the underdrive pulley did dim the lights. maybe it wont for the 8 as staticlag said. I guess ya'll should listen to him because he actually has it on the car and he has in hand experience wit it.

I am about to get the ap pulley and a mazdaspeed flywheel. However i am also looking at getting the FEED 4.77 final drive gears. Do yo0u guys think this is alittle over done?? will it rev up way to fast?

i understand that, but i guess what im saying is; is it alittle over done? Will it be worth the money, i mean to also do the 4.77 final drive on top of the flywheel and pulley

I don't understand the complication over how the flywheel effects the engine...
From my understanding the flywheel has less rotational mass... It doesn't increase power, just allows more of the power the engine creates to go to the wheels instead of moving a heavy flywheel (or a light flywheel)
The underdrive pulley also seems to do the same thing of creating less rotational mass, but also is underdriven 20% (hence being called an underdrive pulley)...
After the HFC, I'm thinking about buying that AP underdriven pulley...

Money isnt the issue right now atleast i am selling my streetbike so as soon as thats gone i will be buying parts like crazy. What suspension are you looking at and or using? is the suspension setup for street, strip, or autocross?
