I don't think it is a matter of no one is interested, but of who can do without their car. And also, we've seen how long development has taken for this car. To me, it seems like a large undertaking with a lot of headaches to volunteer my car.

How much do you want, and how long would I have to be in a rental?

We just want the customer to cover the parts. I would say atleast $5,000 if not more. An interceptor X alone is $1600, a BB garrett turbo runs around $1400, its going to need a better fuel pump, clutch, injectors, a custom fmic, etc etc. It gets rather expensive quite fast if you consider an entire kit with a good ecu...

To be safe I would say we are going to need the car for a couple months.

Looking at the 8, do you think it's possible to do a V-mount between IC and Radiator like on the 7? I haven't seen anyone else that is building a kit talk about that option yet.

I'm not sure, I'd have to look at the chassis in person, with everything removed...

so what happens if something goes wrong and you blow the engine or any other parts? Is that covered?

Man I wish the price for the parts wasn't so steep. For that amount I can almost buy a kit. If it wasn't because of that I drive there next weekend and drop off the car.

I am not aware of any " kit " that includes everything that I am talking about here, what kit includes a new clutch? What kit includes a bigger fuel pump, injectors etc? The term kit is used quite loosely; in the rx7 world a turbo kit can be a turbo, manifold and wastegate...

Doing things the right way costs a lot of money. We aren't going to cheap out on anything, most " kits " include a lot of cheap parts. For example we aren't going to use an SS braided rubber hose, only TFE hose...

If the engine blows up at its our fault, we will rebuild it. Its pretty hard to blow an engine on a R&D engine dyno however. We are by far not inexperience engine builders or tuners.

If you let us use your chassis to make a turbo manifold, we'll build that for free.

We sure will, just as long as it doesn't string out for a year +. All it will come down to is, we will only be able to advance as far as we can based on how much money you have given us. I have our phone number and address on the website, just look us up.

After I have the flange cut, it really depends if a new motor mount needs to be fabricated or not. I'd say 1 weekend to 1 week...
