Looking for some advice
Heya,
I just bought a 2004 rx8 with 20k miles on it. Its fully stock at the moment but I was wondering if anyone had some good advice on a few parts that I should add to my car first. Mostly looking to boost the hp but not looking to break the bank either, I understand some of this stuff is not the cheapest but was wondering what the best "bang for your buck" parts were. Thanks.

The best bang for your buck would have to be the Cobb AP. I would also buy BG44K fuel system cleaner and look into premixing. Soon your going to need new spark plugs and prehaps new coils. You should look into Mazsports spark plug wires and there cooling fan control kit.

best bang for your buck is going to be the AP + cat-delete.
beyond that would be nitrous. beyond that is turbo/SC.
almost all other typical "bolt on" mods are extremely cost ineffective as they show minimal increases at best

Nitrous.
The midpipe idea is a bit overhyped & can create some issues (gasoline smell, check engine light, etc) for only a few hp.
Suspension package is nice. But ingeneral no normally aspirated mod will give you much hp gain for the money.

with the AP you dont get the CEL, with a good tune you can considerably cut the smell, and a plus to leaning out some areas besides power, is also mileage
