Make up my mind for me

Well, I am on the fence between 2 exhausts. I have read a few of the exhaust threads and have not found any direct comparison between these two exhausts. I am either goign to get the Racing beat dual exhaust or the Agency Power Dual exhaust with the titanium tips. I would really appreciate any info from anyone that has dealt with both exhausts. for instance easy of installation, loudness of each, which is deeper, does either drone. Or any other info you have about them. I really appreciate the help

I am in the same boat. I am stuck between RB, SP2, MS. I want a low rumble at cruising, but nothing droning. Does RB give off a low rumble, or is it like stock in that aspect? I know RB is considerably quieter, but I don't want too quiet like stock.

It is all bad, I have seen a couple on lifts.

1) they used the wrong wire when welding, it tends to rust at the joints.
2) Hangs poorly, they actualy sit on part of the shrouds.
3) Tips are just rivited sheets.

I think the Agency will perfom better than the RB, but the RB will last many times longer.

I'm surprised by your choices, you picked two completely diff animals to compare.

I really appreciate the input Digital, I guess I picked the agency just because of the titanium exhaust tips and the rb I have basically chosen due to how impressed most seem by it. I think i will end up waiting meet some of the other eight owners and see what exhuasts they have. If anyone else has any input please let me know. Also what exhaust is just a little louder than the rb. I guess from what I am reading RB is pretty tame? Am I right? Thanks again.

I would vote Racing Beat. Install was a piece of cake(even by myself), and workmanship is really good. It's not as loud as others, but then again, that's what I wanted! I didn't want some loud @ss annoying exhaust until I tromp on it, then it springs to life(that's just a personal opinion). Speaking only about 05's perhaps............go ahead and take off at least the drivers side muffler shroud(carefully), it makes it a lot easier to manage getting the old one out.

Mazdaspeed sounds so nice/deep/throaty between 2800 and 3300 rpm on the freeway. And higher rpm's ,,,just Bliss!

for cruising it depends what RPMs your cruising at... I'd say that at 3k rmps you wont notice it's aftermarket... if you're looking something a bit louder, I'd recommend going with the RB, and when you feel like spending a little more, getting the RP supercat... it'll make it a bit louder for cruising and especially louder for WOT... I have the RB with RP supercat combo and I like it a lot.

I want to hear a low rumble at 3000 rpms, and I do not intend on getting the supercat unless there is about a 10 hp increase. From what I have read, this is not the case.
