wow! shitty individuals?, internet army?, **** *****?...

many of us haven't ever even met each other... yet we feel the same about how the OP presents the question. ignorant and repetitive.

i can honestly say there has been success with previous teenagers with a 1st time rotary/car owner, but those mature individuals come few and far in between.

yes, really.

swoope, there are teenagers who aren't obssesed on power. and like rotary engines and are good on manual shift... though not many, there are some.

c'mon man, where were you in this whole argument? i read only a few post and knew this is an ALL power debate, as i see no scenario presented.

for the most part... you have helped many new-comers. but some are just ignorant or just don't wanna do their homework. or just a kid...

sometimes, leaving your opinions and letting them take it for what it is, is best.

happy holidays

Got my 8 as my first car a little over 3 years ago as a teen. I've done my searching (and coupled with the help of vendors) I have kept her in good shape...and will hopefully be turbo charging her (amongst the other supporting mods) by this summer.

To the OP:

you need to chill dude. Yeah, there are people who like to bully on the interwebs, but if you searched, you would find that this is the typical response to threads like this. Seriously, do a search and you will find a plethora of information on what you need. And if you still have a question, then post that more refined question where applicable. But getting so aggressive just makes you look like the *** and the only thing you will accomplish, aside from getting banned, is pissing off knowledgeable people who could have helped you.

So chill out, and read up.

you know, i think we did him a favor.

but to all the guys suggesting the srt-4, come on guys. we all know that car is a failure. its funny lol, but its not helping him.

OP, please look into the latest cobalt SS. they make a lot of power, very cheaply, and they even handle well. they also dont have fail written on the side like the srt-4 does. and consider the automatic if you are worried about straight line speed. i do a good bit of drag racing, and while a MT has less drivetrain loss, if you are really concerned about running fast consistently, get an automatic. ATs let you run as fast as the car can go, not as well as you can shift.

and they look better too. although, compared to an srt-4 its not hard.

Thanks. Maybe I'll just search next time.

And maybe instead of being so mean and rude right off the bat, maybe you guy s could've just given me links to the other threads? Yeah, I've read them now and I pretty much know what I wanted to know now, but it wasn't after lots of reading through mindless dribble and the same crap I went through in this thread did I actually find what I was wanting to know.

I appreciate the actual input that I received from some of you. Thank you, its only helping my addiction to the RX-8. I can handle mine not being the fastest car around, but I would totally go for fastest RX-8 in my town. Plus, the RX-8's are nice as hell on the inside, and if I can get something thats close to luxery on the inside, and fast too, then I'm sold.

Guys, this was totally inappropriate. We should just flat out ban all of you who started harassing this guy. Either ignore, or point in the right direction. Don't act like total ********. Someone reported this to me last night before anyone had replied- and I ignored it. He posted something stupid, yes. And he should have searched first. But I assumed, incorrectly, that he'd get a little ribbing and be pointed in the right direction- not harassed like he was a criminal. He's banned, but because of his own choice of response- NOT because he chose to ask a silly question.
