NIce, thanks for posting that.
I *do* like the look of the Masdaspeed body kit, but also like my car as is, so I won't be spending my money on it. What I *would* like to spend money on though would be power-enhancing components, and thus far, the Mazdaspeed RX-8 looks to be all show and no go, so to speak. Even the muffler doesn't really add performance. Sigh.

I picked up the same handout at SEMA and got a close look at all the goodies. Those maganesium wheels and the front body clip are my personal favorites......YUM! I find it hard to believe they are going to sell the Magnesium wheels but they said they will.....can't wait to hear the weight!

Has anyone seen this website yet? It looks like they are seriosly planning a mazdaseed version of the 8. They even have color choices. :D

Also have you seen the mazdaspeed center gauges. They are blacked out when not in use.

if anyone else remembers the video posted a while ago.........i believe it was mazdaspeed spec a rx-8 killing an s2000 type v, accord type r and a 350z (albeit stock) by over 3 seconds on a track somewhere in japan.
and my last comment........the mazdaspeed body kit is absolutely GORGEOUS. i would not be surprised if mazda internally schemed to market this body kit to us knowing that no owner could resist such a sexy body kit as the mazdaspeed. it compliments the 8's already fabulous looks so perfectly that i am at a loss for words whenever i see a picture of an 8 equipped with the mazdaspeed kit. that's how much i like the kit.

I picked up one of these at the SEMA show....what really interests me are those Magnesium wheels, I can't wait to hear how much (or rather how little) they weigh.

If you read that brochure it kind of gives me hope that there might be a FI kit from Mazda (or Mazdaspeed) for the RX8.
They might just want to take some market share from the aftermarket tuners. If they don't come out with an FI kit, someone else will and that's money that Mazda is not earning. IT's obvious that they (Mazdaspeed) wants presence in the aftermarket arena.
Just a thought

I am looking to get an Rx8 soon and it would be cool if Mazda offered a FI kit, provided that is gives good performance and does not cost a crazy amount of money.

There was also a one pager about mazdaspeed 04 MX-5 Miata. Odd that they are using the Bosch LSD, and not the Tochigi one!
