Mazdaspeed CAI
I realize this is kinda a repost... but the old thread stopped getting posts and had no information. I was at my local dealership the other day and saw the MS 2006 performance accessories booklet and saw the CAI being advertised in it with a product number and small description. I asked if they knew the price and they looked it up on the computer and couldn't find anything.
Anyone know pricing or release dates or anymore information than the short paragraph? I'm thinking about getting the RB but wanted to look into all my options first.

you mean of this?
Bring cold air from outside the engine compartment into the engine through mandrel bent, 2.5" diameter, polished and powder coated aluminum tubing. The intake system is designed for improved engine breathing, while re-using the stock MAF sensor. Kit includes washable and reusable conical filter. The kit is emissions-legal in all 50 states.

2. The picture is identical for the MX-5, & RX-8
They seem to be more of a placeholder than anything. Regardless, the only parts I will be putting on the car for the next four years are Mazdaspeed. Thus, the intake has been pre-ordered !

That's exactly the argument I made before being proven wrong

I took this photo at SEMA. The CAI shown had a tag stating it was for the RX-8. Also shown here is the new Mazdaspeed Sport Exhaust. Tube size revised, up not a bad thing, nothing to hint that anything else listed in the description is wrong or misleading. New exhaust shows Mazdaspeed is learning what we want and at what price.
