Mazmart Waterpump???
does any body have any experience with the pump? is it really worth it?
is the car staying cool on certain temp? can anybody explain or pay attention when it's on the car, for example: it keeps the car certain temp, colder much faster, or etc.
thank you for the advice

i have heard nothing but good things about the mazmart waterpump and I am planning it as an N/A upgrade this summer.
the impeller is shortened in a sense. look at them side by side.
it is designed to prevent cavitation above ~7,000rpms where the pump is no longer *effectively* pumping the coolant.. instead it is just churning it.. think of sticking a fan abruptly into a glass of water. since the pump is belt operated and with the high revving of the motor the water pump will ultimately spin so quick that the coolant is just going to churn.. that is why any sort of prolonged operation at high rpms brings temps up quick.

I use the Mazmart pump. I am thankful to Mazmart for making this pump. It doesn't keep the car cooler but it will cool it down quicker if it gets hot.
This is my experience with it. A definite improvement in cooling capability. And I think I have the hottest running RX8 in the country.

i like how mazda followed suit in the design of the newer water pumps
that alone should say something about the quality of the REmedy pump, it was good enough that the new OE pump looks just like it!

Maybe, but the guy that did a lot of work designing the pump is a man that Mazda is VERY familiar with when it comes to rotary advancement and technology. A real icon of this car community.

YES The car cools down Much quicker with this pump. I've had it on since last summer and I can't say enough about this thing.

Thermostat
Now, we've been talking for years about how helpful the right thermostat would be (Delaying the onset of temperature escalation amongst other things). We may be MUCH closer now. I feel like a stuck record saying that but I truly think we may be able to have product available in time for this summer.

does this void the rotary core warranty?
It's been such a pleasure to provide this item. For years, Mr Engman's talents have not been able to be tapped to supply products for the 'people'. Finding something that we could develop that would truly be helpful was my task. I saw Rick's dis-content at discovering the stock pump characteristics and I saw him modifying them for some important people who race. After substituting impellers from other pumps was getting tough, I asked "Can't we make our own?". The rest is history including chatting with the excellent consultant that I use regularly on such matters regarding materials and sourcing the best factory for the machining process.

the pump begins it's life as a Mazda part so from the outside they will NEVER know. The only way they'll notice it's different is if they take the water pump off. (which they would never do under routine maintenance / inspections)
if your engine ever goes out, just swap the OEM unit back in.

no but if you give me a few weeks I can probably get you that pic. A buddy of mine is most likely having a Reman engine ordered for him this week.
Once he gets it back, I can take a peak at the pump

Thanks, I want the Mazmart pump even though I have newly rebuilt engine but right when I was about to order I saw another post listing the new stuff in a rebuild (plastic propeller supposedly) and if it is a better pump I'm not sure i will need the Mazmart.
