The midpipe does wonders for quieting down the exhaust without compromising performance. The quality is top notch. Gains fall right into line with other catless pipes.. Whether its worth it is up to you. It was to me

Which is why I purchased it. I have a single resonator midpipe and loved the noticeable gain, but could not stand the loudness after a few months. So its worth it to someone wanting a free-flowing exhaust without having to shift up an extra gear to quiet the noise or turn the radio up loud just to hear the words.

What did you do with the braces?

There were two frame braces under the stock mid pipe that no longer fit the car; what did you do about the removal of those?

Am I doing it wrong?

Interesting... I reinstalled mine without any complications.
Unfortunately, I have my stock cat back on so I can't take a picture to prove it.

I Google searched like crazy trying to find an under-body picture of the AP exhaust... maybe the extra resonator on Mazsport's midpipe is whats causing you to be unable to install the braces back on. I'll let you know how my install goes once I get it. Still haven't received a tracking number.

Have you tried just simply calling them?
I called Betsy a few days ago because I ordered the Racing Beat intake with the ram air duct... when I questioned about the status of the midpipe, she informed me that her hands were tied waiting for parts to come from overseas and go through customs (which can be a pain). She didn't feel like it should take much longer to get the next batch of midpipes shipped... but it all depends on when they receive the parts (I'm guessing gaskets... I forgot to ask if thats what they were waiting for).

Add me to the list of ppl that have ordered one of these, and is still waiting for it to be delivered. Just so others have an idea of wait time, I placed my order on April 5th. Since then I've seen at least 4 other members ask for updates, but still haven't seen a tentative date or anything.

Hey Guys!

I just spoke with my supplier and we will be receiving back ordered parts next week!

Rest assured, as soon as they are delivered we will be building and shipping immediately.

I also ordered enough supplies so the delay will be a thing of the past.

We appreciate you continued support and patience.

Thanks, Scott

Ah, Thanks for the update Scott. I was starting to think you have forgotten about our midpipes. The wait has turned into not that big of deal for me. Maybe you should just throw in a Mazsport hoodie or Shirt for a special thanks for waiting gift..lol... make that an XL also.
