Midpipe or High flow Cat

Midpipe or High flow Cat
Im trying to decide between getting a midpipe or a high flow cat, and would like your opinion. Does anyone know how much more horse power a midpipe give vs a cat? Also, does the high flow cat mess with the warrenty or is it just a midpipe. If you have a midpipe, and then remove it before having work done and put the stock cat back on, will the dealership know that the cat was ever off? And last, any suggestions on a good brand (price vs value wise)? Sorry so many questions, but i would really appreciate it if you have any answers or opinions. Thank you

Since you are new, I'll warn you to search. This has been discussed at least 10-15 times. It shouldn't void warranty, but it all depends on how strict your dealership is. As far as which is better, depends on your preference. Midpipe will give you more power, but at the sacrifice of your eardrums. High Flow Cat seems to be the best choice for me. There are quite a few difference brands of both, canzoomer, rotary performance, and sr motorsports make both the midpipe and high flow cat for the 8. Hope that helps. Please search before posting.

A lot of it depends on whether or not you have e-testing. A midpipe is typically sold for off road use only. A hi flow cat keeps in "stock" form. The performance difference is not too much between the two.

moostafa's rp cat and rb exhaust combo sounds like music to my ears. Enough to make me want to order one, but got to wait til my other exhaust is here .
midpipes are pretty loud, and gives out a real bad smell. But probably has the most performance benefit like mentioned above, but I think a high flow cat would give you a little of both worlds (good sound and performance)

don't be an obnoxious, polluting turd; get the high flow cat
be advised that the ring gasket between the exhaust manifold and factory cat pipe is a crushable 1-use only type, needs to be replaced anytime you break the two apart, fortunately they are not all that expensive
