money issues...

im not really interested in a strip machine...I just want a decent running decent sounding car...how can I get the best "bang for my buck". Like, what would the best route as far as exhaust and such...Im kinda fond of the stock 18's so I dont really need wheels...Im mostly just looking for a decend priced and decent looking and fairly durable exhaust and CAI. I know as far as flow the factory air intake is the best, but I also know that the air is warmer from the factory intake as opposed to a CAI. plus, I think this might make a good general conversation topic

The factory intake is a CAI. If you want sound get a K&N drop in and remove VFAD (search). OBX catback is $300.00 and sounds great. Some state it is cheap crap but those people speak out of their asses as many who have bought it, like it.

Just do a search for custom exhausts on here or on youtube and you will find many.

if you want the best bang for buck for your exhaust you will need to go 3" catless midpipe. a catback exhaust will get a you a couple horses while a catless midpipe will get you more.

note: you will throw a CEL by removing your CAT. you will also get a foul smell and will not pass emissions since it is illegal to remove the CAT.
