Mounting Engine Splash Guard Questions

When I bought my 8 the splash guard was destroyed. I literally had the 4 corners and nothing else. I have a piece of 0.080 aluminum, I think its 2 mm but no one uses metric round here. Anyways, after fabricating this, its going to feel like a shame to remount it with plastic push rivets. Does anyone have a way of mounting it with metal push rivets or something?

You could get really fancy and use Dzus clips.....

Or use screws and speed nuts. Or use the plastic push clips :-)

Or Bolts and nuts....

I had to ask. So I can pop rivet the retainers to the existing left and right splash guards and air dam and then use the bolt to secure the new splash shield?
