MS Sport vs Borla Exhaust

Quick question, I'm deciding if I should go with Borla again or give the MS sport exhaust a try. My question is is the ms sport louder than the borla when on throttle? I loved the borla but wished it was a bit louder. I searched but didn't find any video of exterior drive by or under load, anybody have any drive by clips?

im gonna asume that anything mazda makes wont be as loud as borla.. why would you want it to be louder.. borla is loud enough.. you go any louder you'll sound like a giant ricer...oh wait... nevermind

I was at the NOPI show here in knoxvile and Mazda had a RX-8 with the MS exhaust. It wasnt loud at all. I have seen videos of borla. I think that the borla would be alot better sounding. I personally have the greddy sp2 on mine w/ the rotary performance midpide and LOVE IT! The sound just makes me want to rev it high!

let me help you i have owned both...

the ms = corksport... same product different badges...

comments...

ms has a 2.5" backpipe the borla has a 3" back pipe.. (stock is 3")

the ms has a very nice sound to it... but is louder than the borla... the borla is deeper...

at a cruise over 70 mph. the ms is much louder than the borla...

all of this is with a high flow cat and a resonator..

also i think the borla weighs 5 lbs more.

beers

xped, cesaralaniz had the MS exhaust...did you happen to follow him at any point during the last malibu cruise?

Personally, I think the MS is a great choice....looks good, sounds good, is significantly lighter than the stock muffler setup, and has the Mazdaspeed badging. If I didn't already have the RB setup, I would get the MS.

I didn't get to really hear his exhaust but I did stop by the dealership today and they were installing the ms sport on a customers car. I got to hear it under load and it does sound better than most exhaust but I went with the borla, just love the deeper sound and the tips looks really nice. Plus my friend hooked me up, $540 for a new borla
