Muffler Removal

Hi! I'm a long time lurker and just bought a brand new 2006 VR 6Spd GT RX8 with Red/Black Leather and the OEM Spoiler. I've already learned a lot about this car through these forums and they actually helped make my decision to buy this car.

But anyway, on to the topic. Tonight I was bored with a few friends and we decided it'd be a cool idea to see what the rotary sounds like unmuffled. Soo we spent an hour or two removing the muffler pipes back to the middle of the car. All I can say is it was totally worth it, any true rotary fanatic has to hear this car, sound muffling free. It was insanely deep & loud for the one quick drive I took down a nearby back road. During that quick spin I swear the car felt like it had a bit more low end power and was far easier to shift for whatever reason. Probably just in my head but maybe not.

Now I know most of you are going to call me a ricer or whatever and that was probably a horrible idea, but it was just for that one quick drive anyway, the muffler is going back on in the morning. I just felt like sharing that amazing experience I had and recommending it to anyone who's got nothing better to do.
