I'd be really interested to hear others thoughts on the X-EMS though.
I have my AutoEnginuity CAN scanner arriving before the weekend. So intend to go out and get some scans done of my engine in its stock state. That way I can see how well tuned it is out the box. This will give me a good idea for what tuning I can do with it in the future.
Also, it comes with some Dyno thing. I'm not looking at it for posting RWHP results to the forum, but more to get a baseline. If I use the same device to compare all my mods in the future, then get at least some satisfaction from the improvements. I'll always endevour to do a before and after run on the same day though.

btw, since the stock ecu very tricky when doing tunning. if u going too agressive. the ecu will do the long term fuel trim. basically add more gas in the system. (to enriched the mixture again)
In other words, the map u tuned for is become useless. From my understanding. the X-ems thinggy, they bypass everything. Basically, all the ecu read in is always ideal case (virtually). Even it trigger the LTFT, the ecu will not add fuel in the system since the ecu have no control over the fuel and ignition anymore.
This also means that if ur tune map have prob. the ecu will not able to fix it intime. be extra careful when tuning w x-ems I think

Here is a short list I made a long time ago:

I have not been back to the dyno yet after installing the REVi and my tunned CZ. I was at 196 RWHP, so I could be well over 200 now. I will be going back after the recalls are all done. But now the Interceptor-X comes out! This looks like what I have been waiting for all along.

btw, I find a way to compare the tunning for cz. I wondered will it work
first since the canscan can record 6 data plus time, most of us record wideband, thottle position, rpm, ignition, speed. For me I record the long term fuel trim. hee hee
W the speed and time record. I can always compare the time that I need to go from 35 mph -> 85 mph w full throttle. since the rest of it is almost a constant (mass, speed, same highway, same driver). if the time between those two speed become shorter, is it meant the hp also increase ? (to compare 13.0-13.2 vs 13.5 vs zero map)
