I think the "visit this link" for the Rx-8 PCM Reflash is the funniest one. It's spelled "RX-8 Flash Tecnical Specifications" and shows photo's of an old guy on a computer next to an Rx-8... Basically that means "yay! 15 horsepower!"...
All you proved with this post is your ignorance...

Rocketman1976, now I am not expert, but what people mean when they say no gain with exhaust, they are talking about just a catback. You picked up the Agency Power full exhaust which includes the cat delete. Using a catless pipe does yield better gains. The downfalls are smell and CEL.

The "old man" in the pic is truly one of the greatest amongst the rotary legends in the USA or the world for that matter. We should all respect his accomplishments.

Paul.

This is the first time I have ever seen where a new member doesn't get flamed for not searching! This is how forums should be like! It helps the newer members feel more comfortable and they'll stick around!

Now I will now go put my flamesuit on and prepare myself to be flamed after what I just said.

dude, how the heck did u install the 4.77 gear onto your at?

I ordered the gear and had Mazmart build me a differential with it. I had a local mechanic swap out the diff and sent the old one back to Mazmart as a core swap.

Not sure how it would be on a 6AT, but on the 4AT it definitely makes acceleration and response better. Not FI better, of course, but a noticeable improvement.

Only real negative I see is that if you do a lot of highway driving your highway fuel economy would be a bit lower. Most of my driving is around the burbs, so I haven't really noticed much difference in fuel economy. If anything its gotten a bit better by making my 4th gear a bit more usable.

And of course your top speed is a bit lower, but that wasn't a concern for me.

pardon my ignorance, but has anyone considered more revs as a source of more power? I'd think the rotary can easily handle more revs than a piston engine as long as fuel and ignition can keep up?

plz dont flame because i dont know what im talking about hehe

For now, I highly recommend the Racing Beat flash as a first mod, if you don't wanna wait for flash tools and spend the time tuning your car with it.

The crisper response and the additional power over the additional 300 RPM is worth it in my opinion.

Aluminum Flywheel
Mid Pipe
Drop in Hi-Flow Filter and remove VFAD and one intake screen after the MAF

Underdrive pulley's are a waste since we do not have a heavy harmonic balancer on our cars. I have SR's and it was just a waste of $$.

don't go with the regular E-manage. Go with the Emanage Ultimate or or Int-X or Racingbeat Flash.

Talking RB flash vs Access Port with MM trims

anyone know if the access port with MM trims for NA has been compared to the RB flash? Seems like the access port is the better value, but then I don't know if the MM trims are equal or better than the RB flash.
