OH Need any info that might help

I have a 05 RX-8, when i obtained the car it was installed with a Mazsport interceptor-x ecu, and a low mount oil cooled HKS turbo system with full HKS exhaust. The idle is too low and stalls out sometimes, it runs to rich on the fuel side, backfires and occasionally at night i can see flashes of light coming from under the car. ive tried loading the interceptor-x software onto a laptop and using a COM to USB converter to access the ECU, the program wont read the signal, and all attempts to get infor mazsport has failed. please any info, tips, advice or links would be greatly appreciated.

You need a "dongle" to connect the IntX to the laptop....then it will connect and you can tune to your hearts content
