Lightweight rotors will be a huge waste of money unless you plan to be buying a turbo AND then turning up the boost.

I think he is confused about the rotors. Or he actually ment Lightweight rotors as brake rotors? but there isn't such thing on the Racing Beat web pages. There are some light weight rotors though

perhaps.... brakes... ya maybe.

dude. no paint job? why. if your going ot put that much into your ride and not get the turbo (HKS for beginers has a few problems.. read up. but there are others) anyways. it looks like youare going all out on this thing so if you are going to do all that get the turbo and you have an EXEPTIALLY balences show car minus the audio so work on that (CUSTOM is the word)

i believe in the end you might regret spending money on those items and not gettin a turbo to begin with.

My first suggestion would be that if you need to ask, you shouldn't be tuning your ECU. I'm not sure if you meant that or not, but you need to leave such things as that to a reputable rotary mechanic. The Interceptor would be the best option at the moment.

Judging by your starting list, you're all over the place with your upgrades. I can't really find any logic to them at all. Just getting RB's engine rotors means a lot of labor to rebuild your engine, when there is nothing wrong with your engine - I assume. Based on this, my other suggestion is to identify what you want from the car and then look around here to see what is offered that fits what you're looking for.

First of all HKS does not make a turbo for the RX8. Also I would just wait for the PTP or Mazsport kit to come out, they will be better & more complete.

looks like his shopping list just got hacked in half. My suggestion, make two shopping lists...one (with) turbo, and one (without) turbo. The reason I suggest this, is that some of the parts you list won't be compatible with each other.

If you're more a "show" than "go" type guy, stick with the show items, there is plenty of money to be thrown around on the 8. If you're the "go" type guy, once again, there is plenty of money to be thrown here. I may suggest focusing on one of these at a time....or you'll just have something that is half-$$.

You need to do more research, and those lightweight rotors are more expensive than you think when you include installation, like Fanman said, MS is coming out with a quality turbo.

For now you could do BPU's like cold intake, hight-flow cats, underdrive pulleys, exhaust system, the afe short shifter is a great mod...
