Talking Need help, can get my mind straight!

been saving up for my 8. i was planing to save 6 more months, but then i just found out I can finance wheels. Got a budget of $4,500. PLEASE Help me figure out and decide on what to work on with.

What I have in mind are:
the REVi intake with the air duct, with the RB exhaust or MS's new exhaust.
I'm not really fan of the loud exhausts which leaves me with the 2. RB or MS.
Or are there any better choices? <<close around 1,000$

hmm the kits,
ING's Body kits, which are the Side skirts, Rear Bumper, the spoiler, not the front bumper. I don't like it, it doesn't look as sleek as the MS's bumper. If i mix the 2, will it look weird, MS Front with ING's side, and back? Or should i just go with all ING+1.
The kits i think after body and paint work, comes to around 3,500.

WIth only thing, im sure of is the Volk Progressive TE, Mercury Silver, 19'*8' in from 19'*9" in back. with Toyo.

Or should i start with something else, say hell with body kits,
and get the TEIN Luxury springs, RB sway bars, iPOD docking station, the paino black door inserts, XM radio and the aluminum fender air duct, say no to fender flares.

What should i do?

1) RIMS
2)Coilovers
3)CatBack
4)BodyKIT

i suggest the racing beat exhaust if yor not looking for loudness, its the quietest of the bunch, almost like stock, just deeper, revi should give u "some"gain, if not any, mostly in the top end i thnk, a lighter flywheel would REALLY make a difference, but they're a pain in the **** to install.

normally i wouldn't say this, but debadging your car right now would make it look sick. Also, Tein Basics or Flex plus the RB swaybars would make for a reaally stiff ride, if you don't mind that. I would recommend getting milder sway bars (MS), or just stay stock because too stiff would hurt your handling on not-so-smooth roads. Definitely get the iPod hookup, I always use my Dension Icelink right now and I love it. I definitely really like look of the MS kit, but I've never seen an INGS kit in person before. Looks good in pictures though.

Depnds on your driving habits. If it is just aggressive street driving, with the occasinal track event, then you may want to go with RB Springs, RB Sway Bars (w/front Sway Bar Endlinks), or if you are a bit more into tracking the car then maybe go for the MS shocks & springs w/ sway bars. Coilovers are overkill if you are just planning to take on freeway onramps. Best investment I made. Made the car handle so much better, and they weren't teeth rattling stiff. RB cat back exhaust sounds like a good unit for you. I had it, I loved it. Perfect sound in my mind for the RX8. Air intake will be a good addition. Unless you are planning to add more power no real need to go to a staggered fitment/rims. Even if you can finance them (which be careful, a lot of times it is a complete scam). Just go for a set of real nice 245/40/18's in Toyo T1R's (very good traction, good wet handling, good tread life) or Falken RT-615's (Awesome dry traction, short treadlife though). Unless you just like the looks of the rims, then just go for it. Then if you have any moey left over, go for the bodykit.

i have a pearl 8 also. i had about $2000 to spend on my baby. i bouthg t the REVi w/ Ram Air, REV8 exhaust, clear corners, stealth bulbs all around, hyper white position lights and foglights, tint, passport x50, and oil cooler screens. Factory spoiler from Spoilerdepot.com.

i really like your grill work on the rear bumper but whats up with the blackouts, the RX-8 rear is to sexy to cover it up... lol.

If i had the extra $2000 id buy the RP short shifter and royal purple for the tranny. ehhh and maybe a big brake kit. good luck and nice choice on color!

thx guys for your suggestions, I think I am probably going to put an hold on the body kits. and buy the intakes and RB exhaust.

Coilovers are overkill eh? I was just thinking u know, the TEIN luxury will soften its ride lil more. Anyways, the Volks i love them, i've seen them on an 8, they look perfect and it looked like the wheel was mae for the 8. lol. Please continue writing, i still need help from u guys, im prolly gonna purchase them at the end of June. Till then i need to my mind set to certain things. and thx again guys, it mean a lot to me.

upon further inspection you definitly need a body kit , i prefer the stock one that came with my car but if i had to buy one i would go with the mazdaspeed kit. mazdaspeed and oem are the only ones ive seen that i like. MS kit and the volks would look incredible but thats over your budget and it would still sound stock which is no good. spoilerdopet.com is a great deal for the factory spoiler $212 painted and shipped.

i still dont understand why people upgrade the suspension first. this car is the best handling car ive ever driven or rode in. i just think the money can go to much better places. RB springs would be the only thing i would get and that would be only to lower the car .5 inch

im blabbering bc i was just recently in your situation and am still very excited about my mods. long story short if your going to buy something and its offered by racingbeat.... get the racing beat. they are top notch. Good-win-racing.com has the best prices

good luck and know that this 4000 is alot but wont be the last mods you do... it so damn addictive
