Red face Need help with exhaust and installation

I just bought a racing beat cat-back exhaust system. just wonder if some people could give me some help with unstallation and installation. actually, can anyone give me some photos to show how to pry the muffler hangers. I havent given any try yet but i have already read through the instruction. Just wanna make sure how i should do exactly. if anyone has some pics with arrows, i would be really appricated. oh, also, the plastic shroud which the muffler goes through; can it be easily unstalled without breadking the clips(the plastic screws). Thanks.

for the hangers, get a flat head screwdriver stick it in between the hanger and the rubber things. Stretch it out a bit and spray some soapy water in and just pry em off. ( i used wd40, but i heard it can be bad for the hangers ). The shroud is easily removed by just removing the 2 clips on the bottom of each one and just pull the shroud out. Just be careful when putting the shrowds back in. I lost some tabs because i wasnt careful to make sure they all went in the halls.

My observations.
If you can get the car on a lift then do it. The job is harder closer to the ground.
Use soapy water on the rubber hangers: Not oil. (it stinks later)
You simply work the soapy water into the hangers and pry them off with a big screwdriver or pry bar.
If the car is on a hoist then only one shroud must be removed. Remove the shroud after the old exhaust is off but before you try to fit the RB. (it won't fit)
Removing the shroud is easier when you can see how the clips work but it still is a bit of a chore to get it started.
Maneuver the RB exhaust into the side with the shroud first and then into the open side. Hang the exhaust cans before bolting on the pipe.
On stands I'd bet that both shrouds will have to be removed to fit the RB system.
Leave the bubble wrap on as long as you can during install.
Good luck!

still confused about how i need to take off the clips of the shroud. and one more question, the instruction also mentions that i need to take off the groud wire before uninstalling the exhaust, i wonder where it is, and what is the muffler canister?(i know its a stupid question, but i really dont know the answer)

I just cut the pipe and tossed the old exhaust out. It sold for 20 bucks on craigs list and wasn't worth my time. I just installed my new exhaust and it sounds/looks great. The install went really well too. It was my first time installing an exhaust and it couldn't have gone smoother. Good Luck

heyyyy, i finished it last night and spent about 4 hours. My buddy also helped me with only passing tools to me, but its already so helpful and saved lots of time. basically, the whole process was kinda smooth, except when i loose the two nuts between midpipe and catalytic, it took me a lot time cuz they were really tightened. Those 5 hangers were also kinda easy, especially when installing the new exhaust. i spent about more then 3 hours to take off the stock exhaust but i only spent less than an hour on installing the new one. The worest thing is the working condition. firstly, i used one jack to lift the car up and used two stands to hold it, but the stands couldnt be raised up as high as the jack could be. eventually, i decided to use two jacks which had been located at the points where two stands are supposed to be. It was really bad under the car, I couldnt even use all my force and energy. However, it worths.
