Good luck with that............you need to do some research.

Or.....maybe.......just do a search!

You'll need a different engine to get that kind of HP semi-reliably.

It's going to be pretty messy if you want to put 500 horses under your hood.

The manure smell would be unbearable.

I am clueless when it comes to turbo, but I would have concerns right off the bat with doing it to a high mileage engine.

Or am I off base?

Or should I have done a search to find my own answer?

there are a couple turbo kits around here that will get you to 340-350whp+ thats nearing the edge of what is currently doable on pump gas.

JUST to make that kind of power you could spend $8 Grand+ and get away with it... if you want nice things or a pretty engine bay, you can easily get into the &15K+ range

your can, but in a bunch of search..

and i would learn about the car before you try to put 300 in. it will save you money in the long run..

start with the owners manual..

good stuff.

the long & short of it is that you cannot expect to get 350 whp without serious money and having the work done right. if you go cheap, you can expect to blow up your engine pre-maturely and/ or have an entire headache of problems. budget around $10,000.00 to do it right.

renesis is already a high compression engine. applying forced induction by way of turbo requires that a lot of ancillary things be upgraded as well. for all the details, you'll need to set aside some time and do some serious searching + reading on this site. there is a wealth of knowledge here to be found and studied.

there's a saying...

"old rotaries are like islamic fundamentalists. sooner or later they'll blow themselves up."

Where did you come up with that number? 300-350 hp? Just wondering if you just pulled it out of your *** or something , or is that what your maximum goal is? You can do 300 hp with a turbo kit , but before buying anything i would REALLY suggest you to learn everything you can about the car and also GENERAL information such as how turbos work etc... Im not trying to insult your intelligence , it just seems like you dont know much...and as such are asking other people to feed you answers. lol

I truly believe that was a big help ... NOT ~

350hp for 7500 ? Add a few more thousand to it then maybe.

oh wait, I must be wrong. I cant be knowing better than the know-it-all ...

He said he was willing to accept 300 HP.

Go to a Mazsport turbo or the turbo kit from Mazda Manic.

I think you can get 270 with reliabilty.
