I second that. The Racing Beat will give you an aggressive sound without being too loud. My next favorite is the Borla. Use the search feature and you will find sound clips on most of the RX8 exhausts.

A cat back exhaust is connected from your catalytic converter back, hence the name catback.

GReddy has awesome 5 in. tips and sounds awesome, however Racing Beat seems more dedicated and you might have better dyno gains with it.

Do you want taht DEEP sound?? i would say if you do go either Borla or B&B. Those two are quite deep. If not, the greddy doesnt sound bad at all

When it comes down to it, it's going to be a personal preferance issue. The best thing to do is see if you can find some people in your area that have various aftermarket exhausts and listen to them in person and see if you like the sound. Failing that, there are several audio clips on this board of many of the exhausts and perhaps that will help you. Some are going to be rather mild and some can be rather loud. All in all, you are not going to see much more than 2-4hp gains from a cat-back exhaust, so getting one is going to mainly be for sound and appearance of the tailpipes.

If you are looking for 9-15hp gains with a bit more of a throaty growl added, I would suggest RP's Supercat. Cheaper than the exhausts and in my opinion, worth every penny.
