I don't think anyone makes one... mass produced anyway. I would like to ask someone on the forum to make me one... but I'm too scared to see what the final price would be....

I think that PTP will sell you parts of their kit. Don't know how much though. Probably around 500 or so.

I bought a unfinished custom turbo build from someone on this forum a while back it included manifold, uppipe, wastegate dump tube and downpipe. For the numbers I want to hit and turbo I want to use, his kit won't suffice so Imma start my own custom build so "considering" selling the custom parts...

CRH you definately have my attention!!!

i cant speak for every one here, especially those with things in the works... but if 7K is an amount you refuse to pay.... you better get used to NA, or be prepared to run the greddy kit with minimal support mods at the 'as shipped' 5.6lbs of boost.... WEAK SAUCE

you wanna see what costs you CAN(not have to) really run into... check out my thread https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/turbo-parts-list-wishlist-133808/ adn ask or research how much of that list is truly necessary if you want to play above 300-330 WHP

greddy makes around 240 with the stock setup. drop in a boost controller and a better tune and you can make 270ish. With a nice exhaust system you'll be able to go a bit higher. I've seen over 290.

The problem is if you want to go over 300 whp. You'll want to look at larger injectors, upgraded fuel pump, upgraded ignition system, and upgrade the turbo. Add in cost of install, gauges, supporting mods (bov, oil pans, etc) and the typical baseline you should expect to spend is around 5-6k. But many of these extras are needed regardless of which FI system you buy, and is in addition to the cost of the kit.

hmm ill really wouldnt say that if i was you the fact that most kits for our 8's sell for that much does no mean that thats the parts price now am not saying that the effort and time that went into this kits dont make it worth it im just saying that i wont pay that much for it.
that same thing happend in the rx7 club a few years back when i was trying to turbo my N/A FC every one jumped on me saying that the only way to do it cost efficiently was to do a tll swap. well guess what its not turbo it for less than 3500 and ended up with more power then a stock tll . same thing goes for our cars if u willing to do it ur self i wont be that much. now i cant really get into the 8 project cuz its not done as for now but it can be done., ill up date you when its done. also am not doing none of the work my self just cuz its not an fc and there are a lot of peeps in this forum that know the renny its self more then me. but if u just want to buy a kit i guess the only choice for less then 6000 its greddy
