New Exedy 'Ultra Fiber' disks in stage 1 kit

Hi all,

Im up for a new clutch at the moment, and in searching around have found Exedy have released a new clutch disk material called 'Ultra Fiber' for use in their Stage 1 organic clutch kits.

The new material is meant to provide greater durability at across a wide temperature ranges, and ability to 'recover' from overheating compared to the the previous organic clutch material. I usually run OEM replacement, but the new product seems interesting.

Currently it seems these disks are only available in the UK, US and Japan (and not my country), so I thought I would ask if anyone has tried these kits and has any feedback on them before I source one from Japan (overnight of course, haha).

Meh, stock Renesis doesn't need anything more than the OEM disc.

If you want to pay more for no noticeable improvement (or to hide your bad clutch pedal habits) then go for it. Otherwise, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

^ Does that graph feature Exedy claiming their standard material sucks in comparison to that of their competitors?

Anyway... Just go with the standard clutch, OP. A N/A Renesis doesn't need anything special. Wait a couple of years for other people to beta test the new material with their time and money.
