your missing the point here....

it was done for a reason,
1. weight savigs
2. More flow for turbocharged cars.

after all this exhaust was designed for turbocharged 8's. Not for NA applications.

is that your car deedubb? Didn't you mention you dynoed with a single hks exhaust once? To the above poster that mentioned that it looks ugly as hell, you have to understand the weight savings, as well as the fact that the rx8 wasn't even suppose to come with dual tips, dual tips really belong to bigger block cars like v8s and v10s.

they will still be good. but when moving up to bodykit after getting a single outlet exhaust, i just know there are guna be a few that will buy the rears we have out now, so they going to have that empty right side still.

yeah, i know, but they can make back bumpers especially for the single outlet, it would be easy.. it would be just like the bumpers we have now, except.. the one side would be filled in with more material...... instead of the two slots, that kinda make it look dorky... oh well.. im not getting one anytime soon

That was probably me. They did test a prototype single on my car & it picked up 10 lb.-ft of tq (and about 10 hp). Looks nice. Stainless muffler looks slick.

acutally, with a stock cat, it sounds really close to the legamax exhaust (which isn't loud at all), just a wee bit louder..

I've been told that this new single exhaust weighs only 23 lbs! I believe the stock exhaust weighs about 39 lbs.

It also has an adjustable length Ti tip (97mm diameter). This would be perfect for adjusting to different body kits.

Pretty sweet looking exhaust. The turbo guys are going to love it!
(now if only there was a single exhaust rear)
