Cat this cat that, lol...I'm a bit lost.
This thing looks like a mid-pipe and NOT a high flow cat...is that right? I'm sorry, but I hear catback (which means exhaust muffler)...cat, midpipe...etc and I'm lost in the terminology.
I'd rather go with a high flow catalytic converter (cat?) than a midpipe (no-cat) personally to keep things free from CEL's and the GOBment's scrutiny.

This is a high flow cat.. not a race pipe. You're right though... the cat unit is so small compared to the 3" piping it looks like a resonated race pipe, but I can assure you there are catalyst elements in it.

update... I installed the new Supercat (as well as new spark plugs and oil change) this evening and took a short spin before my Gators whooped up on the Hoyas.
First impressions... it's loud... but I love it. With the Greddy SP2, it sounds like a friggin' race car at WOT. Even partial throttle it's way more aggressive. As for performance, it seems to rev up from 6k-9k much faster. While the streets were still wet from some light snow earlier, tonight was the first time I got the rear end to fishtail in 3rd that dramatically (and I was only at 5k rpm or so when I gunned it). I had to get my *** back home to watch my game, so I'll be taking it for some serious runs tomorrow and I'll try to get a vid or sound clip.
Installation notes:
The O2 sensor is a standard 22mm, so I was able to buy a specialized O2 sensor socket (looks like a normal socket, but has a slot for the wires to slide through) that worked like a charm. After reading that some people f'd up their $300 sensor, this is a smart $8 investment.
As for the hanger... I don't see this thing ever being jarred hard enough to bang the undercarriage or any of the braces. After I bolted it up, I tried to push it around to see how much play was in it, and it barely moved a 1/2" either way. It's still early, but so far I don't see a need for the additional brace.
Other stuff: The braces have 12mm bolts, the bolts/nuts on the header and exhaust side of the cat are 14mm. The O2 sensor is 22mm, and the tiny nuts on the O2 sensor bracket are 10mm. I used silicone spray on the nuts and bolts about an hour before the install, and also on the rubber hanger, and had zero problems removing anything. This was a very easy install... it actually took me longer to change my plugs than change out the cat (damn front rotor trailing plug is a PITA!).
PM me if anyone has questions about the install...
...and GO GATORS!!!!

Im not sure why the flow is that important. Its a 3 inch straight pipe with a cat welded in. If there is any difference in flow from the old unit then it might add 1 HP which you would never feel. Bonez parts are generic cats with a Bonez stamp on them.

Add me to the club that has no problem with the hanger not being there. The pipe is so much lighter than the stock unit and the diameter in most places is a lot smaller.

Hey there guys, RP is nice enough to also send out an email indicating when this will arrive and the date is 5/02. I cant wait! As soon as it comes i'll take some pictures of it and should have it installed within the next week.
After that i'll take some videos of it ideling moving the camera around the car at various points and also get some footage of the car in action while driving.
I also ordered the Turbo XS exhaust, but that should also arrive sometime early this coming week as well.
Still have a few more things to purchase (Revi/Air Duct). I want my car to try and closely match the test car that was tuned by Scott so that I can have at least the same or better results than that car did.
