new TurboXS exhaust ???
alrite, so i jus put my new turboxs exhaust on but idk if its really for me.
it drones like a mug and i tried putting blankets n the trunk but it didnt help much
nebody no if there's somethin you can do to quiet drone without giving up horsepower???
i got the racepipe too...so no cat or resonator that's y its soo loud and droney but if i put the old pipe back on ill havta give up hp
also has neone heard if the new turboxs will melt shrouds...used to be a problem with the old ones but, i heard its been fixed...tips are now thicker, extended, and slash cut

midpipe and stock exhaust is probably gonna be the quietest... exhaust systems for the 8 dont get you much power, getting rid of the cat would most likely give you a better power gain

Ever think about selling your XS mid-pipe and purchasing a dual resonated one? Racing Beat and Agency Power both have one. But I think people said the AP is still loud. Not sure about the RB. There should be threads on both.

grammar fail... do what dozer said.. keep and put back on the stock exhaust (cat-back) because the turboxs doesn't provide much gain if any at all and keep the turbo xs midpipe if the noise isn't for you. Then sell your turbo xs catback and make most of your money back..
sooo therefore you keep your results having a midpipe and get rid of the raspy sound you dislike.

This is a stretch and if you are willing, is take the turboxs midpipe and make your own dual resonated midpipe out of it.
Go to your local exhaust shop and see if you can purchase one/two canisters and if the will weld it on for you were it would fit underneath your car.

I had the old turboxs and racepipe and it was way to load for me. Went back to a stock cat and then to a Mazsport midpipe. It was nice with the stock cat, with the midpipe it sounded exotic and the droning was gone.

how far is the new exhaust in the shrouds i had to extend mine out like 3 inches so the drone would stop those couple inches are like life and death literally once i pulled them out it got quite at all speeds in my ears
