newbee?'s switching intakes

Alright i just purchased a used rx8 about 6 days ago. now it has the K&n typhoon intake on it.. Ive been doing alot of reading and i take it that you do not want this intake do to ideling problems which i have. And are there any other problems that these intakes cause? now my main question is im going to buy the revi intake but i do not have the stock air box parts. i was reading in another forum that you need some of the stock parts for the revi. like the accourdian hose or something? could anyone help me with this and tell me where i can go to order these parst * most likely the dealer**

Thanks for any help

You are correct: you need the stock accordion tube that goes from the MAF housing to the TB. You also need one of the steel mesh screens in order to normalize the flow. Both items can be found only at a dealer (not too pricey, I think)....

REVi + ramair duct is the best overall solution for me....

On top of the accordion tube and 1 mesh screen you'll also need 1 10mm bolt , 1 rubber grommet and 1 washer to fit inside the grommet to mount the REVi.
