Nitrous ?

Is nitrous hard on these rotary motors? What kind of long term effects would nitrous have on these rx8s? Im Debating either going exhaust or nitrous. Which nitrous would be more fun but exhaust would make it sound good.

How can Nitrous be harder on one motor vs another?

If you can answer that question - then you will know whether you want to risk it or not.

Well compaired to a piston motor because of the higher rpms these rotarys run

RPM is irrelevant in regard to Nitrous... compression ratio and intake track design are the key components.

The 50 shot should be no problem to our Rotary
But more than 50, like 75, or 100 will harm our motor

And you came to this conclusion how?

I run nitrous and have no issues at all. I am also running a 75 shot. But that is me and as I've stated before don't do it with out tuning with an AP or some other type of engine management system.

A 55 shot is OK for anybody that wants Nitrous. The ZEX kit is the best in my opinion.

the ? is are you going to the track that you're planning on using nitrous? If you are not going to go to the track or not go very often the money for nitrous won't be worth it in my opion since it will be something u only enjoy while at the track...

at least an exhausst it's something u can enjoy everytime you drive not just when u hit a button goin down the track.....

so I say exhaust unless u are going to be racing like every single weekend all weekend....
