Unhappy Oil Light

Ok here is the deal, my oil light was coming on (but after a few sec. it would go right back off, no bigge) i took it to the mazda dealer and they said "just a sensor" (i had the oil changed while it was there, only had 3k miles) so its now around 5k miles and its doing it again! has anyone else had this happen. Well im about to call them again and ask them whats up!

you are aware that this car burns oil by design right?

when it comes on and off like that, you're right at the point where you should add some ASAP. mine was doing this the other day, added a QT, went away for good.

Yeah this hit me me too, check your oil after every 3000 miles at a minimum!

When my light started flickering, I checked and it was on the Minimum line on the dipstick.

Wasn't there a problem with the baffles in the oil plan. Here's the TSB.

I was going very fast, ( 257 km/h, 8000 on the rev ) and in tis speed it comes up.
Imidiately I was take my foot up and it comes off.

When I check the oil indicator, this was on the midle and no on the minimum.

Couldn't you have just put it like me. Its obvious they are new and don't do searches. I don't see why so many members flame newbies.
