Not to mention that there is no power steering pump, so no fluid is needed. You sure that you own a FD?

OMG!11!!11!!!!Onez

don't expect to be taken seriously when you start threads like a teeny webster ...

not all EMUs are created equal, moreso when it comes to the skill level of people tuning them

Well, when you ask stupid questions like where the power steering reservoir is, it tends to make one wonder.

Wat??? Stupid??? Oh, so you knew where it was when you were born... coz I didn't exactly born to know everything and for everything I don't know... I ask~ Surely a professional one would not feel its a stupid question if one doesn't bloody know it... or should I should start asking you everything that I don't know of...

^ Well, from what I can interpret from that little gem, apparently reading your user manual is not required.

*sigh* this is why i have such a low post count but i'm active every day. i'm afraid to ask questions half the time. +1 on asking if a turbo-oriented emu wiould work well with n/a, i'm curious too. i don't see why it shouldn't.

there are gains to be had with ANY(anything competent to do the job) engine management thats tuned properly, even with the stock ECU. hell there is one person floating around here that puts down more or equal power NA, than the greddy turbo kit does out of the box.
its all in the threads here so im not gonna go into where to find it.

if you get the racing beat pcm reflash, im pretty sure there is no point to getting a EMU, so save yourself $1,240 and get the racing beat reflash

^ that is either stupid or plain ignorance
the racing beat reflash, in the long run would cost you more and does not give you the fun of fine tuning your car

not to mention you have to go to them EVERY time something is added to your car again.......ugh

basically you're dependent on them for life

with an EMU, you can tune it yourself, or take it to a tuner shop, do lot more things with it, and probably get more power out of it too

Why do you say the Racing Beat flash would cost you more in the long run?

The eManage Ultimate will work for normally aspirated cars. As will the Powermod and the InterceptorX. In addition to these Engine Management Units, the RB reflash can also yield good results on a normally aspirated car.

I wrote a thread about the Ultimate. MazdaManiac has add his input to it also. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-engine-tuning-forum-63/emanage-ultimate-turbo-upgrade-kit-findings-96973/
Brettus has written a lot about the powermod. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/power-mod-ems-n-tune-installed-95601/
Talk to Mazsport about the InterceptorX. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-engine-tuning-forum-63/mazsport-interceptor-x-ems-104860/
Here is a thread about the RacingBeat Flash. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ing+Beat+Flash

PS - I found all this information using the search and by looking in the EMS section of the site...

The RB reflash is not BAD

for me personally, I think the point of having a turbo, or supercharger, or any mods for that matter is because you get the ability to make your engine better correct?

and we all know that with every mod, if you tune your car to run optimally with the mods, then you would get the most HP increase out of those mods

RB reflash reflashes your car with THEIR map, to gain a bit more hp, however, you yourself can't really do anything with it, if you go to the dealer, and they reflash your car, you will have to go back to RB to get them to reflash it again, at a cost

if you get an intake and exhaust, you have to go back to them to reflash the tune to get optimum output again

basically, everything, you will have to go back to them again, so in the long run, wouldn't an e-manage ultimate, at a cost of 600$ shipped and everything, be cheaper for you?

think it over for a bit, that is why people are waiting for the Cobb, because unlike RB, you can buy their software and save your maps before the dealer makes it disappear, safe mode maps, retune it yourself, etc etc

You don't have to reflash after an intake or exhaust. It's the same tune.
