Its not that simple, but that is the general idea.
The RB is a great deal for the general bolt on enthusiast. Most enthusiasts have a bolt on intake, exhaust, etc. For those customers the RB Flash is a great option.
You may be confusing the regular RB Flash and Race Flash. The race flash is meant for customers with high flow or no cat. If a customer had a street flash, then went to a midpipe, yes, it would make sense to send the PCM back to RB to be reflashed to the race flash.

^ if you say so
all I'm saying is for me, its not it, because I am that type that likes to fiddle with my car, fine tune, retune, and do it again, and again, if cobb doesn't come out by the end of this year, then obviously I'm gonna have to beam scott up

i think for the time being, i will go with the reflash. With only CAI, catback, midpipe w/ resonator, flywheel, and ignition, i shouldnt need a whole EMU quite yet, but i will be getting the Int-x from mazsport to get the most out of my renesis while staying N/A

I rencently installed my emanage ultimate and got the same whp as you 2 more but it was a base map, start tunning you 8 you will find its not that easy to get more than 10 whp from a stock 8,find someone who knows how to do it,or you will end up with a broken engine, that will really hurt.
