people with the rb exhaust

I'm looking into getting a used rb cat. the rev8 to be more exact.
The only thing is that it seems like it gets a reputation for being really tame when it comes to sound. Not saying i want to be that guy with the obnoxiously loud car, but I'm young and I don't want to dish out the money for minimal performance improvement if it doesn't make a good sound. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds great, you won't be dissapointed. Here is a YouTube clip, there are a few clips on there but this will give you a pretty good idea.

I like it. I now have the RP supercat as well which I think makes a nice combo. I have a video of that combo of me going through first second and a bit into 3rd... I also have one just revving in place that I forgot to upload or something... I'll add that video in a few minutes but here's the flyby for now.

you tube is helpful and all
but I just don't think you can tell unless you're there in person it actually feel the vibrations to.
Would there be a substantial difference say between the rb and the b&b maybe?

sounds like a race car. I like it. Is it much different with the stock cat?

it's pretty significant... I personally liked the sound with the stock as well. I dont think you can go wrong with the RB. It will be quiet for regular driving but when you get on it, it really picks up. If you get it, like it, but want a bit more sound the supercat isn't all to expensive and also helps the sound a bit. I don't have a video of the car before the supercat so I dont have anything to compare to really. Here's the video just revving in place...

It's a little bit deeper in person... but video isn't all too inaccurate.
