people with REVi installed... how's your MAF sensor?
well, knowing that people with the drop-in replacement K&N filters have reported that their MAF sensor is covered in oil after some use, and requires periodical cleaning, I would like to ask those that have installed REVi, are your MAF sensors also covered in oil, or do the design of the intake actually prevents that from happening?
it'll be nice to have a CLEAN MAF sensor with a REVi install :D

I don't have the Revi, but installed the HKS intake last night,
And noticed that the rubber boot behind the maf sensor was coverered in
An oily mess. Cleaned it before installing the HKS and also cleaned the maf.
(Used contact cleaner, Radio Shack sells it and air in a can to dry it)

ZoomZoomH - I have had my REVi for about a month or so and feel (and hear)only good things from it. I have not removed my MAF to check it. When I installed the REVi everything was perfectly clean except the outside of the old OEM filter... I will if you want but based on my current butt dynos and gas mileage I don't suspect any problems. MPG has increased slightly in the city and by about 10% on the highway. Craig

There really isn't much oil on the filter as it comes from Racing Beat (it IS pre-oiled though...you don't need to add more unless you're off-roading or something). When it comes time to clean and re-oil it, I would imagine as long as you don't use significantly more than they did you will never have a problem.
