I would blame the map at this stage not the pump.

The pump would have to be almost non-functional to affect the idle

^^ Well...then it's either the pump or the regulator

or clogged fuel line, bent fuel line, clogged fliter, bad return line etc etc etc, even the fuel rails and injectors can mess with the pressure, even the power supply--have to check it all out.

Just finished reading this entire thread. Really sorry to hear about this. Do we really need an upgraded fuel pump to push upwards of 350whp??

Does anyone know if Esmeril is running an upgraded pump of some sort, since they're making 360+???

I run a stock pump.

I'll probably go to a high-flow system at some point just because I can.
But it will be a true return-style system, not a localized rising-rate like the MazSport system.
Raising pressure at the pump without increasing flow through the system is pointless.

To add my two cents of my Experience and what I have been through with the car...

1. I drive my 8 a lot from Tampa to Orlando a lot, No Stopping unless for gas but rarely.
2. I have even driven 3 hours to SFL with no problems nor stopping
3. I see my gas light usually, I don't boost the car though under a 1/4 tank and dont have issues.
4. One Cook in the Kitchen! Stop tinkering with the stuff.
- On this same note I am sure Scott would have uninstalled it for free
5. I have never pre-mixed! Ever! Nor will I ever from what some have stated as issues arising
6. I am no way siding with Mazsport in any manner and I understand Jasons Frustrations I have been in the same boat.
7. SCOTT HAS ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF THE ISSUES

I can never really say that there have been issues with the Fuel System in my car.

If you do percentages on defective items you usually can tell that there are chances units will fail.

Certain variables change this understandably, such as the pre-mix dilemma or other issues at hand.

I have been on the same engine and probably boosted the hell out of my car. Seriously I have put my car thru more than anyone on this board can even imagine, and she sits tight right now.

Have been doing a lot of R&D for Mazsport and known the "others" that do some other R&D I can attest to the fact that there will be issues and unknown variables but the end result is always positive and there is always a solution to the problem.

Hope this works out for the best Jason and Scott.

I've continued to premix with the OEM pump.

I will be popping out the OEM fuel pump shortly to take a look. No issues to report, but that's not surprising since I had no issues prior with the OEM pump.

when you do.

make sure the tank is almost dry. go in both sides of the tank and wipe the tank out with a very clean cloth. i think you will be surprised at what you find.

i am still premixing, but i have totally changed how i do it...

btw, check pm..

beers

Now it's been 2 weeks. If I can get an ETA or something, then I'll shut up till then. Otherwise I'm left hanging and there isn't any communication on this topic going on.

Any word? We're now on day 16 of the fuel pump watch, and I'm starting to wonder what's going on. Did you open the box up yet? Throw me a bone here.
