power upgrade???
hello everyone i just bought a 04' 8 and i was just wondering what would be a good mod to start out with i have a Borla exhaust and i was thinkin some pulleys and an intake and maybe start on the clutch? what do u think?

if ur looking for "power" upgrades... it won't be done with simple bolt ons. cheapest way i believe is getting spray or if u got 3k+ to spend u can get a turbo kit... and if ur really deep in the pockets, u can the 20b swap, turbo that and nos lol

yeah thats the thing my pockets arent really deep right now i have just started a new job and it will be a couple weeks til a check, but for right now i am deff. takin ideas. but keep the ideas comin!!!

I'm not saying that your are a nub, although I technically all ready called you one... heh...
I'm just saying that Racing Beat's flash is the easiest thing of all the modifications I've done too my car... The only other thing left for straight line speed on my list is a 50 shot, and by then I should be beating anything stock that isn't an exotic/muscle car.
Flywheel was the funnest, because revving quick entertained me good. Now that I look back on it I wouldn't even waste money on an intake until you tune the 8 somehow (which is why I suggest RB's flash). The Agency Power under drive pulley gave a slight increase in rev speed, and the biggest gain for that was in the 4,000-6,000 RPM range. You could actually feel the added torque with that little pulley.
