Problems!

ok i got a few problems, and i dont have a scanner and my digital camera is broken so im gonna try my best to describe it, and can someone tell me whats wrong

problem 1) when you start your car and on the radio screen it says "mazda RX-8" (i love that) when i look close at it, theres a picture of a fan and its got some boxes after it, and that never lights up. I turn my fan all the way up and it doesnt lite up? Whats going on?

2) Thers a cut in my seat, the driver seat, some real jack-a**es cut it with a knife ( i was afraid of it being keyed, but someone cut the seat instead, didnt see this one coming), its real clean and deep and i dont know whether to get a new seat or patch it?

3) on the silver rail thing inside where the cup holder (in the back, behind the driver) is or whatever, there are like 2 scratches and reveal the black part of the arm rest or somethin like that, should i paint that up or what? and if i do paint it, what type of silver would i use?

4)And the worst of all, i had a hit and run. On my back wheel fender, above the rear bumber is a dent and a scratch. Its pretty big. How much do you think this would cost to fix this? My dealership sent me some touch up paint in the mail and im afraid i'll use it wrong. So what should i do?

Thanks, sucks to be me but other than that, i love my 8 and no problems with it.

The missing fan icon is for automatic climate control which we don't get in North America.

4) Your "Hit n' Run" was probably the result of a runaway shopping cart. It happened to me too, but luckly, the cart hit only the back part of the bumper (black part), and only caused a minor dent (can't hardly tell). The funny thing was I saw the cart rolling towards my car as I was walking out of the super market. I ran towards it but was not able to stop the cart in time. Kind of reminded me of that VW commerical of this Silver Jetta, and this guy ran back from the super market and dove right at the shopping cart before it hit the car.

Anyway, I think the a$$hole did it on purpose (wanting to hit any car with the shopping cart) because I saw him push the cart across the parking lot towards my car after he closed his trunk. The parking lot was full; if it didn't hit my car, it would of hit another car instead. Maybe he thought the cart had homing capability and would return to the market by itself.

I'd swap my headlight washers for your sun roof or sat nav
sh*ts me we can't get those in .au. a sunroof cools your car down so quick in a hot climate

Koala Joe,

Did you destroy the SOB that pushed the shopping cart? If that had been me he woulda been pulling my size 9.5's and the shopping cart outa his ***. That's ridiculous.

Just a suggestion before you go painting that silver part with the sratches. I did the same thing, was careless with the seatbelt and got a black mark/scratch that I was planning on painting. Well, a week went by and I noticed the mark was smaller. So I rubbed it really hard with my finger and the black actually came off and the piece was like new. I was so happy. I'm not sure if yours are the same type of mark, but its worth a try.
