I can't argue with that!
Just ask Charles or Chickenwafer - they make far better paperweights than turbos.

Chris....Esmeril
TO POINT OUT - that car ur talking about is setup for the drag. Runninig 40lbs for 6.5 seconds at a time is a lot different than running the same setup for any other purpose other than that.

More important than that.... the WHY.

Which in this case is the fuel and the speed, amt of boost with no fuel map etc etc....

Changes the tone of the argument a bit eh?

I'm a bitter retired rodeo clown with severe arthritis and a wicked lissssssp. I howl at the moon, drink wild turkey on my porch, and shoot the local kids with a paintball gun on mischeif night. One time, I got my **** caught in an elevator door and road 42 stories at 1200 fpm pretending to be grooming my beard in the door finish. My children cut up my food for me so I can chew it on the one side of my mouth with teeth. I'm a registered democrat and vote republican because I'm cross eyed and highly dyslexic. One time I tried to do a word search and wound up in the hospital for a week. I also own an Rx-8.

These are my technical qualifications.

Just because I thought it was worth mentioning: I've seen FDs approach 200k on the original motor. This is not the norm, but I've seen it and they weren't babied either. Just stock and well maintained.

I think they made around 10 PSI boost.

Here's my favorite part: analyzing combustion propagation at 2000 frames per minute

hmmmm, what's that, about 33 and a third frames per second? NTSC TV is 29.97 FPS, Movie film at 24 FPS.... I don't think you could see a turd propagate out of my dog's *** at that slow a frame rate let alone the deflagration of gases!
