Question about Flowmaster

I have friends who have gotten Flowmaster exhausts installed, on piston engines only, and they sound good. How are they different from a Borla or a Greddy exhaust? Are they even the same things?

When I was shopping for an exhaust (March timeframe) Flowmaster did not make an exhaust for the RX8. I don't know how it's different from a Borla or Greddy...

Flow master is normally focused on the Domestic cars scene. Mustang and Camaro etc...I had a set of Flow master headers on a Z28 and they were ok.

I would be careful about an exhaust system not specifically designed for a rotary motor. Rotary engines produce significantly hotter exahaust gas temperatures which will cause mild steel and aluminized exhaust systems to corrode and break down in a matter of months. I would look for something that is Stainless Steel and Rotary specific.
